Ps .Matthew Lukose
What we Believe
The one true and living God who eternally exists in three persons in unity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scripture.
The original perfection of creation; the inherent corruptness of humanity through the Fall; the necessity of repentance and regeneration by grace and through faith in Christ alone, and the eternal separation from God of the finally unrepentant.
The virgin Birth, sinless life atoning death, triumphant Resurrection, ascension and continuing intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Second Coming, and eternal Kingdom reign.
The justification and sanctification of believers through the finished work of Christ, their security as they remain in Him, and their future resurrection in an incorruptible body.
The Sacrament of Baptism by immersion, and of the Lord's Supper.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers with supernatural signs, empowering the Church for its mission in the world.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit for the building up of the Church and ministry to the world.
Christ's leadership of the Church through the ascension ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, for the unity, maturity and growth of the Church.
The privilege and responsibility of wise stewardship of all that God has given, including the practice of tithing to the local church.
We believe that the covenant of marriage is the union of a man and a woman who have voluntarily entered into a loving, committed and exclusive relationship for as long as both live.

About Us
Iam Matthew Lukose , I began my journey in the Marthoma Christian tradition, hailing from Chathenoor, Kerala, a region with a deep-rooted history of Anglican Protestantism and a strong commitment to biblical faith and worship. Growing up in this tradition likely shaped my understanding of liturgy, Scripture, and the role of the Church in nurturing believers.
My ministry was further deepened by formal theological education at seminary, where you gained a comprehensive understanding of the Bible, theology, church history, and pastoral care.
A significant aspect of my ministry has been work with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a global Christian mission movement known for its focus on evangelism, discipleship, and mercy ministries. YWAM likely gave you me an unique perspective on cross-cultural ministry and mission work, broadening my understanding of how the Gospel speaks to different people and contexts. The experience of working with young people and serving in international missions would have equipped you to relate to a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds, giving me a heart for both local and global outreach.
Now, Iam residing in Adelaide, South Australia, where Iam continuing my pastoral ministry. Adelaide, with its unique blend of cultures and growing immigrant population, presents both challenges and opportunities for ministry. Given my experiences with both local churches and international mission organizations, likely place a high emphasis on evangelism, discipleship, and serving the marginalized, reflecting both the personal and global dimensions of Christian faith. So thus the Place of Prayer Adelaide fellowship as started with humble beginnings.
Iam committed to teaching others how to live out their faith in practical ways, empowering believers to engage in their communities and the world with the hope of the Gospel.
